Comments

Reported from Sharp Island, Tung Ping Chau (Ref. 94637); and Tai Tam Bay (Ref. 125338). Also reported from Cape D'Aguilar and Yan Chau Tong (Ref. 129329). Juveniles were recorded from Starfish Bay, Kei Ling Ha Lo Wai, Sha Ha, and Nam Wai (Ref. 125515). The species was observed on 2 to 10 occasions during 400 dive surveys on artificial reefs (Ref. 119494). Sold in live fish markets. Commonly consumed in Hong Kong (Ref. 125589).
